Eggshell / Feather Earrings

Nothing at our Homestead goes to waste! Here we have our Eggshell Earrings. When we do all of our baking, we constantly save the egg shells to do arts and crafts with, or to add to the gardens for a calcium boost. These shells may be quail or chicken shells and they come in a variety of colors.

Our feather earrings are made from the feathers that drop from our birds. Every fall, they lose and regrow their feathers. All feathers have been picked up off the ground before the wind carries it away and cleaned before strung into earrings. We have many different breeds, so we always have a variety of feather options.
